DID GlobalPort's Terrence Romeo really flash a dirty finger to some Ginebra fans who threw bottles and coins after both teams' PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal match on Sunday night?
In a post on Facebook later Sunday, Romeo said that he just pointed at the fans to stop throwing the said objects at them.
A witness, however, claimed otherwise.
A certain Jaylhen Toribio insisted that Romeo raised up his middle finger to the fans upon exiting the Mall of Asia Arena.
According to the caption of a video she posted on Facebook, Toribio claimed Romeo responded to the jeers by flashing the dirty finger at them.
However, the low quality of the video made it difficult to decipher if the star combo guard was just really asking the fans to stop or provoking them more.
The said post-game incident, which also had Jay Washington being thrown with coins as well, came at the heels of a controversial finish to the game, where the referees appeared to have failed in calling an infraction to Stanley Pringle, letting GlobalPort win the hard-fought 84-83 overtime thriller against Ginebra.
Check out the video below, and you be the judge.
