MANILA--In what could be the biggest transfer news in the history of Philippine club football, Ceres got Azkals right-winger Stephan Schrock on a loan deal from Greuther Furth.
The defending United Football League champion secured him on a loan deal until August in which the club will have him for the UFL Cup, the earlier stages of the League, and the AFC Cup.
Schrock is valued at as much as 700 thousand Euros or around PHP34 million as per sources.
Both the club and Schrock confirmed the news on Thursday in their respective pages.
The feisty Azkal saw his time at the Bundesliga Division 2 outfit largely reduced due to competition in his ideal right wing position and Stefan Ruthenback's insistence to start at left back.
