PARAÑAQUE--Rolando Dy made an impression in his first featherweight fight with a unanimous decision win against Miguel Mosquera at PXC 51 at the Solair Grand Ballroom on Saturday night.

Dy, who came from a loss to Kyle Aguon for the PXC bantamweight belt, proved too much for Mosquera as all the judges gave perfect 30-27 cards for him.

Dy, the son of boxing legend Rolando Navarette, said after the match that he is now comfortable at the 145-pound level because he can now eat lechon, drawing laughs from the crowd.

He also apologized to the audience after getting cocky late in the match and ended his public address by quoting a Scripture.
