KUALA LUMPUR--Eric Kelly reiterated that the loss of his brother Edward to Ev Ting is not his motivation in his upcoming One Championship match on Friday.

“I have nothing personal against Ev Ting. I trained hard and like a natural for this fight so I am prepared to beat him. Even if he beat my brother, this isn’t about revenge. I would rather just do my best so that I can win and make my brother proud,” the older Kelly said ahead of their battle at Clash of Heroes at the Negara Stadium.

In the non-title main event, Eric Kelly and Ting will lock horns in a potential title eliminator with the winner possibly facing featherweight champion Marat Gafurov next.

On his preparation for the fight, Eric Kelly described, “Training has gone well. I feel great. I’m ready. I feel strong and ready to bring honor to my country.”
