MAKATI--Four international MMA fighters got the better of their Filipino opponents at UGB: Foreign Invasion at Circuit Makati early Saturday.

Brad Robinson made a successful return from a two-year hiatus after beating Mark Palomar for the inaugural UGB middleweight title in the main event.

The American fighter, who last saw action at One: Honor and Glory in 2014 but lost to Nik Harris, survived the challenge of Palomar in the first two rounds before performing an arm-triangle choke that forced the latter to submit at the 1:47 mark of the third round.

Meanwhile, Pakistan went 2-0 against the Philippines in the said card as Uloomi Karim and Ahmed Mujtaba dispatched Michael Mondragon and Rodian Menchavez respectively via stoppages in the co-main events for the bantamweight and featherweight belts.

The lone other international match had Czech Michal Vostry beating Patrick Manicad by knockout just 41 seconds into it.

The said event is the first of UGB under a new partnership with WSOF-Global Championship, the international affiliate of the US-based MMA promotion WSOF.
