PASAY--Rain Or Shine waved a late 20-point lead goodbye and lost to San Miguel in Game 1 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday night, and Coach Yeng Guiao rued the fourth quarter meltdown.

"The game was ours to lose. For three quarters, we were in the lead. We can't blame anybody but ourselves," the veteran mentor told the press.

Despite the "disappointing" defeat, Guiao expressed optimism that his team will bounce back in Game 2 on Thursday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"We just need to put this behind.... It's a long series. We just learn from the lesson of the day. We don't want this game to stop us from what we need to do. We will look at this game positively," Guiao further said.

On a lighter note, Guiao just laughed out the funny moment in the third quarter when he did the "pabebe wave" to Chris Ross after a commotion.

"Wala na. Nag-trending na tayo eh," Guiao reacted about the waving gesture.

As of posting, "Coach Yeng" is trending on Twitter because of the said pabebe wave.
