MANILA--Team Liquid became the second team that confirmed its attendance at the ESL One event on April 23-24 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In the official release by ESL on Tuesday, the US-based DOTA 2 club, which became more formidable since recruiting European players, will be joining EHome as the teams that expressed their intent of joining the tournament.

Kuro Takhasomi will once again play the skipper role for Liquid, while he will be rejoined by Lasse Urpalainen, Adrian Trinks, Ivan Borislavov, and Jesse Vainikka.

With the two automatically seeded teams revealed, all eyes will be on the regional qualifiers.

As the host country, the Philippines is assured of a slot in the main event, but the representative will be known via a qualifying tournament.

Qualifiers will also take place in North America, China, Europe, and Southeast Asia. It is not yet sure , however, whether Philippine teams will be allowed to join the Southeast Asian qualifier, where two slots are at stake, since a Philippine qualifier will also commence.
