MANILA--For Manny Pacquiao, his colorful boxing story will enter its climax in his third fight with Tim Bradley.

A report from AFP said that the former eight-division world champion will be leaving the squared circle for good after his April 10 (Philippine Time) showdown with Bradley.

The Sarangani congressman explained that his boxing retirement is his first step toward a full attention on his political career. He will run for senator in the May 9 elections.

He also denied reports that he is considering to return to the ring once a rematch with Floyd Mayweather has been set, saying that he did not say anything about it.

Meanwhile, the current Mahindra playing coach remained mum about his PBA future, especially on how his job will be affected should he win a senatorial seat.
