MANILA-- Agila-MSA and Laos battled to a 1-1 standoff in a UFL Cup bout at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on Sunday night.

Laos took the opening goal off a well taken free kick by Hamed Hajimahdi in the 50th minute.

The club then proceeded on with its attacks as Laos was keen to double its lead over Agila.

Agila, however, got its equalizer with a little over three minutes left in regulation as Harold Alchoresa picked up the rebound from a saved free kick.

The result, the first draw of the cup, eliminated both clubs from quarterfinal contention and effectively sent Forza and Voltes, which both have six points with a match remaining, to the knockout stages, completing the playoff cast for Group A.
