PASIG--Cafe France-CEU scored its third straight win in as many games on Thursday with a 94-73 romping of UP-QRS-JAM in the nightcap of the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup games at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The Bakers mauled the Fighting Maroons early on, opening a 29-12 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back.
Carl Cruz led the way for Cafe France which tied Caida at the top of the team standings, with 15 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal, while Rod Ebondo completed a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds along with two assists, one block, and one steal.
Raymond Aguilar contributed 14 markers, 12 rebounds, and three assists for UP-QRS-JAM, which lost for the first time after two straight wins.
