PASIG--Making a statement two games into the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup, UP-QRS-JAM tries to continue its surprise run as it takes on reigning Foundation Cup champ Cafe France at the Ynares Sports Arena on Thursday.

Set at a 4 p.m. tip-off, the Fighting Maroons and the Bakers will battle it out for the right to join the Caida Tile Masters at the top of the standings with a 3-0 record.

Helping UP-QRS-JAM set the pace for the team is its loaded frontline, a factor to watch out for Cafe France coach Egay Macaraya.

"Tingin ko masyadong malaki yung mga bigs nila. I got guys to match them too, but I think they will be a barometer on how good CafeFrance can be this conference," said Macaraya.

Meanwhile, Mindanao and Tanduay will gun for their first win as they lock horns in the 2 p.m. match-up.
