MANILA--Ateneo's UAAP Season 79 bid gets a big boost as high school star Tyler Tio expressed his commitment to the said team.
In an Instagram post on Monday night, Tio, wearing an Ateneo shirt, announced his intent to join the Blue Eagles with the caption "On to the next... #OBF".
Tio, who previously starred for Xavier in the juniors basketball circuit, will join an Ateneo team loaded with talented guards like Matt Nieto, Hubert Cani, and last season's surprise package Adrian Wong.
Tio will also get to be under the tutelage of Gilas mentor Tab Baldwin.
