PBA

QUEZON CITY--Carlo Lastimosa once again put on a offensive showcase for Blackwater on Valentine's Day.

This time, he got help.

Reil Cervantes also delivered for the Elite as they took down the Mahindra Enforcers, 110-102, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup match-up at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Cervantes, whose help to Lastimosa in Blackwater's mid-season conference opener against Talk 'n Text was not enough, made a great contribution on Sunday as he led the team's pull-away with back-to-back crucial triples to highlight the game-turning 11-1 run late in the fourth quarter.

Cervantes finished with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting including three triples along with a rebound and two assists even as Lastimosa fired 26 points along with six rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block for the Elite, who clinched the last seat in the Philippine Cup playoffs after downing the Enforcers in their knockout match on the final day of the eliminations.

Augustus Gilchrist had a game-high 34 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, three blocks, and one steal for the Enforcers but committed six errors.
