PARAÑAQUE--The PRFU, together with JML, will put up a rugby 10's tournament to begin the countdown to the world famous Manila 10's.

Known as the JML 10's League, the said tournament will run every Saturday from Feb. 6-20, and the finals will be played on March 5.

The tournament will kick off at the Nomads Sports Club before action shifts to Calamba's Southern Plains a week later.

Nomads will again be the home turf of the tournament for the Feb. 20 playdate and will return to the said pitch for the championship games on March 5.

There will be three men's divisions, the bowl, plate, and the cup divisions, and a lone women's division.

Alabang and reigning PNG champion Clark headline the cup division, while the Extinct Volcanoes, made up of former national team players, are expected to top the plate category and Albay and QCPU are tipped to win the bowl tourney.

QCPU's distaff side leads the teams competing in the women's division along with Miriam, CBRE, and Alabang.

Some of the teams competing in the JML 10's League will use the said tournament as a tuneup for their stint in the Manila 10's on March 19-20.
