Stallion demolishes Forza to remain immaculate

MANILA--Stallion demolished Forza, 9-1, in a UFL Cup bout at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on Sunday.

Stallion took advantage of an early Forza rejection as keeper Abu Ibrahim was sent off in the 18th minute due to a bad tackle he committed while trying to secure the save.

Following the sendoff, Stallion proceeded to create relentless attacks on Forza’s defense. 

Stallion got its opening goal off a smooth finish by Joshua Beloya in the 36th minute.

Just before half-time, Jordan Mintah made it 2-0 for Stallion on the 43rd minute.

Upon the resumption of the match, Jordan Mintah scores a long range shot making it 3-0 for Stallion in the 50th minute.

Five minutes later, Yannick Tuason made it 4-0 for Stallion.

Stallion continued its superb scoring as Balut Doctora scored in the 61st minute, making it 5-0 to Stallion.

Barely a minute passed, Ashley Flores made it 6-0 for Stallion as he picked up Jordan Mintah’s through ball.

Four minutes later, Jordan Mintah scored his hat trick making it 7-0 for Stallion.

Forza’s helpless game continued as Shaun Soberano drove in Stallion’s eight goal on the 70th minute.

Jordan Mintah who had a stellar night scored a cocky chip over the Forza defense making it 9-0 for Stallion.

As the game was closing, Jordan Mintah had the opportunity to make it 10-0 for Stallion but sadly he missed the penalty.

Forza, on the other hand, did not go home empty handed in terms of goals after Stallion’s Bervic Italia scored an own goal that lessened the deficit to eight before the final whistle.

The win pushed Stallion to 12 points with one match left in its group stage schedule.
