PASIG--Tanduay finally jumped out of the cellar of the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup after getting the better of a 95-56 result over Mindanao on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena for its first win.

The Rhum Masters put on a tear against the Aguilas from the opening tip and even stifled them in the third quarter, limiting them to only four points in the period, for the seamless ride to the victory.

On the other hand, Ryan Wetherell got the better of brother Taylor in scoring as the former made four points for the Rhum Masters and the latter was scoreless for the Aguilas.
