YANGON--Eugene Toquero will be in for a battle that will determine his readiness for a world MMA title shot as he faces former One flyweight champ Adriano Moraes at One: Union of Warriors on March 18 at the Thuwanna Stadium.
Toquero, who has been on a roll in his One Championship stint, will take a hungry Moraes eager to return to the world title picture since losing his belt to Kairat Akhmetov last year in one of the fights featured in the said card.
Meanwhile, another Filipino fighter will enter the One cage for the first time as Robin Catalan will debut against another Brazilian veteran in Alex Silva.
On the other hand, two fighters groomed to be among One's future stars will collide as Keanu Subba clashes with Christian Lee.
The main event features hometown hero Aung La N Sang and Egyptian pug Mohamed Ali in a non-title clash.
