UST stuns NU to continue impressive run

TAGUIG--The UST Growling Tigers claimed all three points in their Sunday evening bout against the NU Bulldogs, 3-1, at the McKinley Hill Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, Ronald Batisla-ong gaves UST the lead in the 52^nd minute.

Renz Gumban then doubled UST's lead in the 72^nd minute.

Later, Gumban claimed his brace at the 81^st minute, extending UST’s lead to 3-0.

The Bulldogs, however, got a consolation goal scored by Darwin Regala in the last minutes of the game.

The result put the Growling Tigers in second place in the current standings of UAAP men’s football.
