Attacking concerns cost Radiant the win says Stoykov

MANILA--New Radiant coach Yordan Stoykov rued his club's lack of attacking prowess in its 0-1 loss to Kaya in the AFC Cup on Tuesday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

"We need to strengthen our striking. We have some injured players. I hope in the future we will do better," the Bulgarian manager said after the match.

Despite the loss, Stoykov expressed satisfaction of Radiant's performance and optimism about the club's next games.

"Having one point in the first two games is better than having zero point in the first two.... The tournament goes on. We have another four games, and we will try," he continued.
