PASAY—Justine Baltazar is not La Salle-bound—at least for now.
The 6-7 NSNU beanpole clarified to a group of sportswriters that he has not yet committed to join La Salle for this year's UAAP seniors basketball season contrary to a report posted on Wednesday.
However, he admitted that he will go to the Green Archers' camp after his graduation on March 19 although for a different purpose.
"Hindi pa po [ako nag-commit sa La Salle]. Dadalhin lang po ako doon ni Boss [Dennis] Pineda [para maki-practice]," Baltazar, the recently crowned UAAP juniors basketball finals MVP said prior to the NBTC All-Star Game at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Baltazar also said that even his coach with the Bullpups, Jeff Napa, has not reached out to him yet to join the Letran Knights, his new coaching venture.
In fact, Baltazar also said that he has not made a college choice yet.
But on his tertiary education preference, Baltazar replied, "Yung mabibigyan ako ng playing time at maganda yung education."
