MANILA--As the two major DOTA 2 tournaments to take place in the Philippines draw near, Mineski, one of the top Filipino e-sports clubs, revealed its team for the upcoming season.
Benhur Lawis and Jun Kanehara have been officially named to Mineski's DOTA 2 team on Saturday night, taking the mid and offlaner roles respectively.
Lawis has actually been inserted to the lineup as early as last week in the ESL One Philippine qualifier although in a stand-in role.
On the other hand, RJ Qui will be playing more of the carry, while Julz Sto. Domingo, who played the carry role during the Winter tournaments, and Jessie Cuyco will be the supporting crew.
Aside from the ESL One, Mineski is also looking forward to the Manila Major as the team looks to become both tournaments' Philippine representative while aiming to take opportunity of the events happening at the Mall of Asia Arena to its advantage.
