SAN JUAN, MM--Petron showed its prowess in the PSL with a 25-14, 25-15, 25-16 victory against F2 in the Invitational Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre on Thursday.
The Tri-Activ Spikers needed only 68 minutes as Bang Pineda, Aiza Pontillas, and Mina Aganon combined forces to spoil Paneng Mercado's debut with the Cargo Movers.
Pineda, who is back as an open spiker after spending some time playing libero, led Petron, which is now 2-0 in tournament, with 12 points, while Pontillas and Aganon added ten each.
Aby Maraño led F2 with eight markers.
