STELLENBOSCH--USA added more woes to the Philippines in the latter's CMAS Underwater Hockey World Championship campaign with a 10-0 win in the masters men's division on Saturday night (Philippine Time).

The loss dropped the Filipinos further down the cellar with their third straight loss of the tournament, while the Americans, with the win, joined a provisional five-way logjam for first place with four points at the end of Day 2 of the competition.

France and Australia, who took a bye on Saturday, can break out of the tie as they take on last placers Canada and the Philippines respectively on Sunday.

The latter two teams collide later Sunday to determine which team will get out of the abyss after Day 3.
