BANGKOK--Despite a relatively better performance, the PSL All-Stars still ended up losing in their second match in the Thai-Denmark Super League to Idea Khonkaen, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19 at the MCC Hall on Thursday night.
Despite keeping the game close, the Thai side still proved to be the better club than the collaboration of Philippine volleyball's brightest pro players as the latter was sent to its second straight loss in the tournament.
Porntip Santrong made 14 points on 12 spikes for Idea Khonkaen, the champion of the league's inaugural staging in 2013.
Idea Khonkaen was successful in limiting Rachel Anne Daquis, who showed promise against defending holder Bangkok Glass on Wednesday night, to only four points.
Cha Cruz top-scored for the PSL All-Stars with seven markers, all on attacks.
