QUEZON CITY—Talk 'n Text leaned on a huge fourth quarter blitz to pummel Ginebra, 107-92, in the nightcap of the PBA Commissioner's Cup games on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Tropa pulled away for good from the Barangay through a 34-19 outscoring in the final period to tie their victims at 5-4.
David Simon led TNT with 30 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks, while Troy Rosario added 22 points on five triples.
As a team, the Tropa took care of the basketball properly, only committing 12 turnovers while dishing 26 dimes overall.
Othyus Jeffers made 26 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, one block, and two steals for Ginebra.
