MANILA--JP Voltes completely dominated Agila-MSA, 4-0, to end its UFL Cup group stage campaign on a high note on Friday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Goals by Masaki Yanagawa, Shinpei Wada, Yuuki Nakazono, and Mahmoud Ali formally cemented Voltes' place in the knockout stage in April with a dominating display, only limiting its victim to just one shot.

Yanagawa shoved Voltes ahead just five minutes in with the former Global center-half converting on a corner with a neatly placed header into the left corner of the net.

Wada made it 2-0 four minutes before half time on a muffed clearance by Rosalia after he saved John Celiz's rocket from outside the box to score on a rebound.

Their brillant offense finally bore fruit with eleven minutes left, as substitute Nakazono pounced on a Celiz cross from the left wing to put the match away.

Ali put the finishing touches a minute after he came on for Celiz with a diving header off another Voltes corner five minutes from full time.

Yu Hoshide's men ended their Group A campaign in third place with nine points and will face his former club Global in the quarterfinal.

The former playoff winner bossed the field for the entire match, generating 56 percent of the possession with much of these coming from several brilliant plays from its passing game.
