QUEZON CITY--Ateneo got two wins against Fruitas-JCA in their PhilHealth-City Hoops Preseason Cup matches at the AFP Wellness Center on Saturday.
The Blue Eaglets first trounced the Shakers in the U13 Division, 65-19, on a huge third quarter shutdown before one of their U15 teams, Ateneo Blue, completed the sweep through a wire-to-wire 79-38 victory.
Charles Litang nearly matched Fruitas-JCA's total points as he finished with 15 points for Ateneo's U13 team, while Sael Lim paced the U15 Blue squad with 13 markers of his own.
The Eaglets' other U15 team, Ateneo White, is playing La Salle Greenhills as of posting.
