Belo wins D-League Aspirants Cup MVP award

SAN JUAN, MM--Phoenix-FEU's Mac Belo grabbed the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup MVP award moments before Game 4 of the championship series with Cafe France-CEU on Tuesday.

Belo, whose stint in the current conference was highlighted with a league-record 41 points in one elimination round game, won his second top player plum in four months after taking home the UAAP Finals MVP award last December.

The Accelerators, who are leading the Bakers, 2-1, in the best-of-five series, can clinch the title in the game ongoing as of posting.
