MANILA--Make that a two-championship-match fight night for the much-awaited One's women's title clash between Angela Lee and Mei Yamaguchi.
Vitaly Bigdash will stake his One middleweight championship against Aleksei Butorin in the supporting bout to the Lee-Yamaguchi clash for the One women's atomweight belt as the full card of One: Ascent to Power was announced on Friday.
Bigdash, who will be making his first title defense of his second term as One middleweight champ, will face off with Butorin in an all-Russian affair for the said belt in the co-main event of the May 6 event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Meanwhile, two Filipinos are also booked for One: Ascent to Power.
It is actually Philippines versus Singapore in those two Filipino appearances as Jimmy Yabo takes on Benedict Ang, while Cary Bullos locks horns with Angela's brother Christian.
