PASIG--Cafe France-CEU and Phoenix-FEU collide anew on Thursday in Game 3 of the best-of-five PBA D-League Aspirants Cup Finals at the Ynares Sports Arena.

With the series now virtually reduced to a best-of-three affair after both teams split the first two games, both the Bakers and the Accelerators face off for a 2-1 series lead, putting either of them to the brink of winning the title, which can be clinched as soon as Tuesday.

Late drama defined the first two games of the titular clash.

Phoenix-FEU held a late 18-point lead in Game 1 the week before only to be nearly eclipsed by Cafe France within the last four minutes.

In Tuesday's Game 2, it was the Bakers' turn to let a late double-digit advantage be almost squandered by the Accelerators.

"Hopefully sa third game, pareho na kami ng intensity," said Cafe France tactician Egay Macaraya ahead of the 3 p.m. tip-off.
