PARAÑAQUE--Geje Eustaquio and Gianni Subba are slowly but surely becoming the next prized fighters of One Championship.
Now that the MMA promotion set them up for a potential career-changing clash at the Global Rivals event on Friday night, both fighters gave their insights on Thursday during the pre-match press conference at the City of Dreams Grand Ballroom.
For the Filipino standout, the road to the One flyweight title could become clearer for one of them.
"This fight between me and Gianni will determine who is the top flyweight contender," Eustaquio specifically said.
For the Malaysian sensation, however, it is just another day in the office for him.
"It's just another fight. Every fight's the same. I'll come out to prove myself," Subba particularly answered.
