QUEZON CITY--Ginebra blew past San Miguel, 110-84, in the nightcap of the PBA Commissioner's Cup doubleheader at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.

In a surprising manner considering their opponents' latest addition to their portfolio, the Barangay pulled off the biggest loss of the Beermen in recent years.

Ginebra pulled away from the reigning Philippine Cup champions through a 36-22 second quarter and even added some more damage in the fourth, going for a 32-20 period.

Othyus Jeffers tallied 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists, while Chris Ellis had his best game of the season with 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals for the Barangay, who are moving on to the quarterfinals with the win, joining the Meralco Bolts and the Alaska Aces.

Tyler Wilkerson, who entered Sunday night with a conference-leading 36.0-point average, was limited to only 20 markers on a 6-of-16 field goal clip while turning the ball over six times as the Beermen suffered their most lopsided defeat since 2011.
