PASAY--Tall teen prodigy Kai Sotto highlights the list of 15 young cagers who will get an NBA experience as they were named to the Jr. NBA All-Stars at the end of the Jr. NBA National Training Camp at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on Sunday.
The 13-year-old 6-9 beanpole, who was also named the male MVP of the training camp, will be joined by Miguel Tan, Jearico Nuñez, Tracy Dadang, Andrei Lechoncito, Ric Gatuz, Isaiah Blanco, Harold Alarcon, Fritz Valencia, and Julian Jugo in the male team.
On the other hand, Darlene Regasajo, Florence Talas, Cecilia Quilenderino, Rozie Amatong, and Alona Betanio make up the female all-star squad.
Getting the most nods among the Jr. NBA coaches, the said teenagers will be going overseas to undergo further basketball training plus a chance to watch an NBA game live in flesh.
Meanwhile, Perlas Pilipinas veteran Ewon Arayi and Pocholo Elegino were named the Coaches of the Year and will join the youngsters in the NBA experience.
