MANILA--Paul Lee finally made a triumphant return from a knee injury in Rain Or Shine's PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinal series-clinching Game 4 win against San Miguel.

Lee's vintage performance, which ended with a team-high 18 points, two rebounds, and five assists, was enough for him to be named the Accel-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week on Monday.

Playing backup to rookie Maverick Ahanmisi and rising star Jericho Cruz to quicken his recuperation from a left knee injury, Lee showed he is definitely back with the impressive game enough to beat Calvin Abueva for the weekly honor.

However, Lee was quick to downplay his fine outing and attributed the victory that handed the Elasto Painters the first berth to the championship round to his teammates.

“Hindi lang naman ako, pero yung buong team talagang binuhos lahat para makuha yung panalo,” said the 6-0 national team player.

ROS will return to action either on Wednesday or Friday depending on how the other semifinal series between Alaska and Meralco concludes.

The Aces, leading 2-1 in their own best-of-five affair with the Bolts, can secure the other finals berth later Monday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
