KWAME Alexander became well-known in the Philippines after showcasing his high-flying slams in the 2015 PBA Governors' Cup.

However, he still has more rim-rattling antics in his sleeves.

The former NLEX Road Warrior channeled his inner beast in TNT's basketball-themed game show "The Dunk King", which caters to non-NBA players who want to get an NBA Slam Dunk Contest feel for US$100 thousand.

Alexander, who is actually known in some streetball communities as "Space Jam", participated in the second episode of the said program, which was aired on Friday (Philippine Time).

The main highlight of his stint was a dunk similar to Gerald Green's winning dunk in the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Alexander, however, put some twists to his "table dunk" as he brought a table tennis table in and even let NBA legend and TNT commentator Kenny Smith play a ping-pong game with his friend.

The NLEX import then went for an alley-oop finish that he accomplished in just one attempt. That, however, proved a little painful despite him completely hurdling the table as he had a fall after the dunk and got a cut on his left hand.

But he still kept his poise by even doing a couple of push-ups.

Smith's fellow ex-NBA superstars and commentators Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Brent Barry were impressed with the slam and gave him a 97 on the average. Alexander would move on to the semifinals, joining another pro dunker who etched a name in the Philippines, 5-foot-5 Porter Maeberry.
