MANILA-- Forza took the league in a more surprising turn, as they force a 1-1 stalemate with Green Archers United in what surprisingly became the first match of a Sunday schedule at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Hayato Aoki rebound two minutes before the hour mark cancelled out Jimuel Ariola's opener as the two Alabang sides were forced to share the spoils in their league opener.

After an uneventful first half, GAU struck first five minutes into the restart, as Ariola's initial shot from a right wing cross was palmed away by Abu Ibrahim but it went back straight to him for the rebound.

However the lead was short-lived as eight minutes later, as he poked in the equalizer after Nicolas Ferrer rounded off keeper Henri Bandeken Fong.

After a nightmare Cup campaign in which they ended up completely shut out, Nomads finally grab their first three points of the season without even kicking the ball.

Agila have forfeited their 2:15 match with the Merville side possibly due to lack of players, with their squad mainly composed of Ateneo booters that are also preparing for the UAAP Men's Final on Thursday.

With the forfeit, the league awarded Nomads a 3-0 win that put them into a joint share of the lead in the league table at the moment.
