MANILA--Global turned on the heat in the second half and surged on top of the league table after a convincing 4-0 rout over erstwhile unbeaten JP Voltes in a lone midweek match on Thursday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Halftime substitute Arthur Kouassi scored again for the second straight time against the former playoff winners, bagging a brace in the final ten minutes of the match to seal their pole position in the league table for their third win on the trot.
An own goal by Jason Cutamora at the hour mark sparked the second half blitz of the two-time league champions, with Hikaru Minegishi added one seven minutes later for Leigh Manson, whose side will face Loyola on Saturday.
