SAN JUAN, MM--A day after Maverick Ahanmisi won his very first PBA title, his younger brother caught fire.
Jerrick Ahanmisi exploded on Thursday as Adamson turned back Letran, 83-78, in a FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup match at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
The younger Ahanmisi fired 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block as the Soaring Falcons gradually took control of the match before withholding one last push from the Knights.
Robbie Manalang added 15 points, one rebound, and seven assists, while Papi Sarr chipped in 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks for Adamson.
JD Tungcab made up for a quiet scoring game by grabbing ten boards, dishing four assists, and taking two steals.
Rey Nambatac made 18 points and 11 rebounds for Letran, but he only made 1-of-7 triples.
