SAN JUAN, MM--La Salle's impressive preseason continued on Friday after deposing UE, 97-75, in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
The Green Archers were steady nearly all game long and pulled away for good from the Red Warriors with a fourth quarter barrage for their second straight victory of the tournament.
Ben Mbala showcased his interior presence by posting 24 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, four blocks, and two steals, while Jeron Teng also made 24 points along with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals for La Salle.
Alvin Pasaol led UE with 13 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
