Pasargad draws with Agila in morning match

UFL

MANILA--Pasargad came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw against Agila-MSA in the first morning league match early Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Woo Song's brace in the last four minutes canceled out the strikes of Jeong Hyeon Son and Jarvey Gayoso to give both sides their first points of the season in a match that began at 7:30 a.m., the earliest kick-off time the league has scheduled in its history.

As both teams came from contrasting losses to start their season, they start the match in a subdued tone as they try to get used to the morning kickoff which is unusual in a top flight match.

Agila scored first four minutes into restart, as Son launched a rocket from outside of the box.

With six minutes left, Gayoso almost thought they grab all three points with his debut goal in the UFL after beating Jose Anton Yared and slotted it home into the empty net.

The tall South Korean forward had other ideas, though as he pulled one back on a header a minute after the Ateneo super rookie scored, and deep into added time, leveled the match on a nice assist by Jangobah Johnson.
