MANILA-- After being ran to the ground last Thursday by Global, JP Voltes vent their rage on Forza on a straightforward thrashing, 7-1, early Sunday afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The former playoff winners launched a first half shellacking against the hapless Alabang outfit, with J Baguioro and Takumi Uesato each pulled hat-tricks of their own to jump ahead of the goalscoring charts with six and five goals respectively. Kevin Skinker added another one as well for Voltes to leapfrog past top flight pioneers GAU and Loyola in second of the league table with nine points in their first four matches.
Voltes displayed their merciless game althroughout the match, gaining 70% of possession and limiting Forza to just six shots.
Aoki Hayato pulled one back for Forza in the second half, but Voltes settled the match already in the final ten minutes of the first half, launching six unanswered goals from the 38th minute up to fourth minute of first-half of stoppage time.
Forza dropped to tenth in the table with just a point after two matches, as they were yet to register a win after shocking draw the Archers to open their league campaign.
