MANILA-- Global goes back on top of the table without even a single kick as Green Archers United bounced back immensly from the Kaya massacre last Sunday to inflict its own on Agila-MSA to cap off the midweek fixtures in the UFL yesterday afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Global were awarded automatic three points by default after Pasargad failed to show up on time in the first match, going back to the summit of the league table without breaking a sweat for the third match forfeiture this season.
GAU, meanwhile, got their third win in style, firing five goals without reply against a hapless Agila outfit that were reduced to easy targets by the Lasallian outfit.
The Archers have outshot Agila by 24 but only finding their groove in the final sixteen minutes with three strikes by Jimuel Ariola, Chieffy Caligdong and Alvin Sarmiento to turn a close 2-0 encounter into a 5-0 rout at full time.
