SAN JUAN, MM--Cignal TV only needed about an hour to put away Philippine Navy for a straight-win victory, 25-22, 25-13, 25-15, in Spikers’ Turf action on Monday at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
Ysay Marasigan topscored with 11 points (seven attacks, three blocks, one service ace) for the victors, the only one who was in double figures. Raymark Woo (six attacks) and Lorenzo Capate, Jr had seven markers each.
Cignal now has three wins in as many matches, beating Philippine Air Force, 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, on Saturday. Navy falls to 0-2.
Meanwhile, Air Force prevailed against Sta Elena Construction in three sets, 25-21, 25-18, 25-21, on Wednesday. PAF has a 1-1 record while Sta Elena debuted with a loss.
