UFL

MANILA-- Global stayed undefeated in the United Football League as they withstand a gallant defensive stance by Forza, 2-0 in the second game of Saturday's triple-header at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium earlier this afternoon.

Forward Omid Nazari scored once in both halves for manager Leigh Manson as the reigning UFL Cup winners won its seventh win in as many games for 21 points, six points clear of second-running Ceres-La Salle, who were playing Stallion as of this writing.

Nazari opened up the scoring with a brilliant strike off a nifty pass from midfielder Hikaru Minegishi from inside the box six minutes into the match, then doubled the lead from an OJ Clariño pass with sixteen minutes left to complete his brace.

Forza still languished in the bottom of the table along with Pasargad but despite tied at a single point, the latter had a reprieve as superior goal difference lifted them just above the cellar.
