MANILA--Asian basketball fans can meet, greet and watch some of the NBA elite guards as they will visit Asia for the Adidas Take On Summer Tours.
Charlotte's Jeremy Lin, Portland's Damian Lillard, and Chicago's Derrick Rose will take headline the event in this off-season.
Lin and Lillard entered the playoffs but unfortunately they were eliminated in the first and second rounds of their respective conferences.
Lin's Hornets lost to Miami Heat in Game 7 of East first round, while Lillard and the Blazers faced the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the second round of Western Conference playoffs and lost the series, 4-2. For Rose and the Bulls, they came up short entering the playoffs.
As their season now came to an end, the grueling off-season training, mentality and hard work that prepare the game’s best for the upcoming season, the latest Adidas Basketball tours will connect millions of fans to their favorite athletes.
"My approach to basketball has always been this; you can only get out of the game what you put in – and that’s what Take on Summer is all about,” said point guard Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.
"That’s the mentality I bring to my training and being able to share that attitude overseas to fans and players is an honor. I’m excited to get back to China, Taiwan, and the Philippines to spend time with some of the best hoops fans in the world,” he added.

Lillard will have a stop in the Philippines on June 14. He will meet the fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on the said day.
