MANILA--WSOF, through its international affiliate WSOF-GC, found another partner MMA promotion in the Asia-Pacific region in Australia's Eternal MMA.
"Signing as an official partner with WSOF Global is a huge next step for our organizations. Not only does it validate us as a pathway for talented and driven Australian MMA athletes to reach the next level of their careers, but it adds the potential for international fights on one of the world’s very best MMA promotions in WSOF Global," said Eternal CEO Cam O'Neill, who recently founded Reign Fighting.
“We specifically sought out Eternal MMA for our official partner in Australia and then found out their plan of introducing Reign Fighting, along with their vision for the two promotions. It only made things more exciting. There’s no doubt that the Australian MMA fan base is one of the fastest growing in the world. It was very important for us to find a great partner in Australia. We look forward to working with them to help bring the best MMA events to those great fans," WSOF-GC Affiliate Coordinator Zachary Harris.
WSOF's tie-up with Eternal begins at Eternal MMA 18 on July 9 in Perth, while Reign will stage its first event on Aug. 13 in Brisbane.
