MANILA--Calvin Abueva was meted a one-game ban for his actions in his recent PBA Governors' Cup outing.
As announced by the league on Tuesday night, Alaska's hardworking winger got his demerit plus a PHP22 thousand fine after a review of his elbow to the face of Ginebra's Chris Ellis in the fourth quarter of their game on Sunday won by the former.

Abueva and Ellis were former teammates at NLEX when the team was still in the PBA D-League.
