PASIG--AMA aims to stretch its late run to the PBA D-League Foundation Cup semifinals as the team battles also-ran Blu-Malaysia in a crucial elimination game on Monday at the Ynares Sports Center.

The fight card in general is crucial in a sense because Tanduay, the team AMA is chasing in the race for the last Final Four seat, faces league-leading Cafe France-CEU in the other scheduled match-up.

Fresh from a huge victory against the Mindanao Aguilas on Thursday, the Titans, who need to win all of their remaining games to have a good chance to make the semis, can go back-to-back wins against the Dragons, who have struggled in the conference, in their 4 p.m. game.

"Sana magtuloy-tuloy lang yung magandang ginagawa namin," AMA coach Mark Herrera hopes.

The Titans may also need some help from the Bakers, who after trouncing the Phoenix Accelerators also on Thursday can strengthen their hold of first place against the Rhum Masters at 6 p.m.

A Tanduay win, on the other hand, will not just give the team an opportunity to put one foot in the next round but also complicate matters in the race for the Top 2, which will mean a twice-to-beat edge come the semis.

"We are not leaving any stones unturned. We want to do everything we can to make it to the top two," said Coach Lawrence Chongson.

A Tanduay win will drop Cafe France to a three-way tie with Phoenix and Racal for first place at 7-2 while Tanduay will be a half-game behind at 7-3.

The Rhum Masters will get a timely boost as Kevin Ferrer was given the green light to join them against the Bakers.
