MANILA—Narantungalag Jadambaa needed only 44 seconds to depose Eric Kelly in a potential One featherweight title eliminator on Saturday night at the Hefei Olympic Sports Center.
The former One champ from Mongolia scored a right hook that sparked a 1-2 punch to bring the Filipino pug down to the canvass for good in the main event of One: Dynasty of Champions to bring him more proximate to a chance to reclaim his title belt.
Triumphant re-entry
Meanwhile, Bo Hou You Ga scored two victories in his One comeback night by ruling the Hefei Flyweight Tournament.
The 23-year-old Bo, who last fought in January, scored a submission victory over Wan Jian Ping in the semifinals before beating Li Hao Jie in the final.
Also making a successful return to the One cage was Ann Osman, who bucked off an early showcase of skills from Haiat Farag and won via armbar submission with barely a minute left in the very first round.
