QUEZON CITY--A huge rematch with an even huger stipulation was set at WSOF-GC 3 as Yusaku Nakamura and Larry DiGiulio won in the openers of the WSOF Global Flyweight Championship Tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday night.

Nakamura, who instantly gained some Filipino fans for his in-cage antics, and DiGiulio hacked out contrasting wins but did enough to set up an encore to their epic battle at WSOF-GC 2 in Tokyo, where the Japanese fighter escaped by a controversial split decision in front of his home country crowd, for the vacant WSOF Global flyweight belt.

Nakamura got a more convincing victory this time around, scoring a unanimous decision win over Tim Moore with all the three judges members giving Nakamura perfect 30's.

DiGiulio's latest match again ended up in a split decision, but this time he got the better of the said verdict against Marcel Adur.

WSOF Global, led by Filipina owner Dunesa Hesser, bared in the post-fight presser that they are set to begin the talks for the immediate holding of the five-round rematch either at the promotion's next fight card in China or back in Japan at the end of the year.
